Question on a totally different car I just thought you would be more likely to check comments on your most recent video. You inspired me to upgrade my 2997a and I have an upgraded motor, receiver and esc. The car is a beast now but the servo is the only thing lacking but it's a weird size have you found any upgraded servo options?

I’ve beat the snot out of mine. Absolutely no failures even with the ultra crazy Snow Plow tires from Upgrade RC. Crazy crashes and all and so far not a single issue. I haven’t even had a plastic axle spin off yet.

I have a 3s big rock on a 6s system with a spool and the only thing I've broke or upgraded was the front and rear diff and one rear turn buckle due to a crash and front knuckle due to a skate park crash. Currently it runs 83mph will shoot for 100 soon. 42t spur metal, 19t pinion metal.

I can usually accept breakages when the RC is pushed beyond what it's meant for, but I gotta agree with you here. Love Arrma, but this one needs attention.

Bummer about the failure as I was under the impression the Big Rock was tough. I bought 2 well used Senton 3S BLX and have not broken anything yet? Arrma tough baby . . . 😝

I've had all the Arrma 3s range except the granite and none have lasted the distance. Shock breakages, drivetrain failures, driveshafts popping out, motors seizing and ECSs blinking red lights of death. My 4s v2.5 Kraton and 6s Typhon on the other hand have been bullet proof. Meh...

Ive usually got some kind of pro tip to give but.. your right 3s arrma driveshafts suck and the upgraded ones aren't any better

Wow, that 2s LIPO I was running is half off right now and only $10.99 (plus shipping)! What I don't like about the Big Rock: Horrible stock tires that can't approach the stock top speed without causing ridiculous handling issues from ballooning and severed balancing issues Weak axles that can't handle stock power levels Weak input gears that when run to hard turn to dust and typically take the diff gear out too Undersized 100A ESC with questionable reliability Gearbox that likes to eat dirt from the bottom Spur gear that is prone to wear out prematurely Maybe they will fix some of these issues with V4...... 😥😠
