My father died in March 2020, discovering this album about a year later was the first thing that brought joy to my life again, I pretty much realized I had been in a state of depression.

The fact that 'The Midnight' is a post 2010s band, making synthwave/synthpop 80s influenced music, makes them timeless. They're a modern band with a hint of nostalgic vibe that most people who listen to them werent even apart of. You dont need to be from the 80s to enjoy these guys. They're from today, this generation, they're are still around. It fascinates me, I hope.people catch on to this unique group of guys.

Terrifier 2 brought me here and as an 80’s baby I couldn’t be happier. This entire album is the best thing I’ve heard. Every drumbeat, Melody, harmony, synth leads, pads, guitar lines and solos, sax hooks and solos, they all bring me back to Dallas, Tx in the 80’s listening to the stereo with my parents. What a blessing to be transported through this music.

I remember the first time I listened to this album in full; It was last year I was driving alone out of Las Vegas and was heading southwest on my way back home to San Diego. The sun was setting over Death Valley as Endless Summer (the first track) played. I had positive vibes and high hopes during the usually long and tiring trip as this whole album, as well as FM-84'S Atlas, helped make it better..
From seeing the desert turn to mountains, and the mountains turn to valleys, and the valleys turn to the ocean lit by the full moon setting on the western horizon, and just this music playing during the whole trip..
Good experience. Good times. It truly makes me re-appreciate life..

Oh my god, I just discovered these guys like 3 weeks ago. YouTube's algorithm just brought it up in my feed, and now I can't stop listening to them. I even bought tickets for them in concert on Oct 5th in Phoenix. So excited! I was a teenager in the 80's so this style of music just brings me so much joy! And on top of that, I played alto sax all through grade & high school and there is so much AMAZING sax in this music. So glad YouTube dropped them into my feed!
