I recently just finished the series and OH MY FLIPPING THRA!!!
I was blown away with just everything, let me just say that Deet was my favourite, like this innocent baby needs a hug.
The soundtrack, by the stars the sound track, I fell in live with it, like the music is pure ethereal beauty, the animation, the world-building are just amazing and I am so glad I watched it.
Took me a few years but I am glad I did, I loved it so much and I NEED A NEW SEASON, BUT NO THEY HAD TO GO AND CANCEL IT!!!

I enjoyed the dark crystal as well. I didn't see it as a kid so I didn't have any nostalgia for it, but I loved the puppet style, visuals, and interesting story and world. So of course Netflix canceled it.
