The hiring manager will welcome you at the start of your job interview. Do not sit down in the interview chair until they invite you to do so. Once you are sat down, the hiring manager will say to you something like thisā¦
āWelcome to the interview. How are you today?ā
I recommend you say this in responseā¦
āI am very well, thank you. Iām excited about possibly working for your company and looking forward to the interview.ā
Saying that at the start of your interview shows the hiring manager that you are polite, respectful, and positive. It also shows that you are looking forward to sharing details about your skills and qualities and how you can add value to their company.
The hiring manager will then commence the interview. The first question they will ask you will either be, introduce yourself or tell me about yourself. These interview questions are designed as icebreakers; they get you talking and give you the opportunity to speak about your skills and strengths and how you can add value to the company.
WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR JOB INTERVIEW INTRODUCTION 03:25
When you introduce yourself in an interview, talk about the following 4 things:
#1. The SKILLS you have that match the job description.
#2. The EXPERIENCE you can bring to the role, or EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS if you have no previous work experience.
#3. Details of any ACHIEVEMENTS you have gained in your life so far.
#4. The TYPE of person you are and what you will do in the role if they hire you.
You will notice that those four things stand for S.E.A.T. Skills, Experience, Achievements, and the type of person you are.
You can easily remember the S.E.A.T STRUCTURE for job interview introductions because you will sit down on a SEAT at your interview!
OK, let me give you a brilliant example job interview introduction that will help start your interview off to a positive start. This introduction can be used when answering either INTRODUCE YOURSELF or TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF.

Today, I actually got socially rejected/hated by the interviewers bc i used Richard' amazing answers! I realized that we must know where to use this. I was successful in a prestigious organization interview, but got hate in a shabby organization just because I prepared with the same quality. They said I was speaking too highly and thinks im better than everyone when i just wanted to be confident and sure. So folks, please know the quality of the place ur applying. *i applied bc it was mandatory, so i picked the head position, but they actually liked my friends which gossiped with them in the interviews instead
Really, this template is just awesome. Just need to find the same quality interviewer to appreciate that!
