Within 4 years, Hugh Masakela would have a number 1 hit in the United States called, "Grazing In The Grass"

My Dad played trumpet in various bands. He would have loved Hugh Masekela. Really impressive.

Both a surprise and honour to see our great Hugh Masekela and Miriam Makeba on this program. Both legends!

Hugh Masekela was a tremendous talent. Saw him perform many times. Peggy does her Who, What, When, and Where type of questioning. Bud made his job look easy.

I wonder if the panel deliberately didn't vote for Boystown contestant No. 2. Kudos if they did.

Nobody received "a carton of Winstons on your way out" as usual. Did that practice finally stop or was it a case of it being tacky to give cigarettes to boys and ladies?

"Master" in the video title needs to be changed to "Mayor."

I can't believe Kitty asked such a stupid question: "How many words are there in the Swahili language?"
Did she think those S. Africans are so simple that there would only be a few hundred words? Someone should have asked her, "How many words are in the English language?", maybe she would have realize what a ridiculous question that was!

Back away from Thai royalty down the aisle of the airplane on their knees? And this was an honor? I hate to think what duties were considered degrading.
