This was an unquestionable 10/10 pilot episode! It's really cool to hear how it was that both Chugs and Evil Uno got into gaming, the exciting news to come up in the gaming industry, what they would want to see in the future, and even what their personal GOTYs are. I already CANNOT wait for the next episode! Chugs, Evil Uno, both of you keep up the awesome work!

I got so nostalgic when they started talking about demos. I discovered so many games because of those old Playstation demos back in the day. I would've never discovered Hot Shots Golf or Pa Rappa if it weren't for demos.

Uno the Gran Turismo movie is based on a real life story about how the game turned a player into an actual pilot. I personally loved it, it's really good.

Balatro is sooooooo good. I play at least one run every night(usually more honestly) and I haven't gotten bored yet

Big metroidvania fan. I picked up the new Prince of Persia a week or so ago when it was on major sale. I love it. Can't put it down. Probably the most fun I've had playing something this year.

I'm surprised the Borderlands movie didn't come up for the final question tbh. Personally, as a fan of the games (that can see their issues!), I'm very worried as it feels so much like a 'we have Borderlands at home' to me. I will watch and I'll judge fairly but most of what I've seen so far just seems off.
Great first episode, obviously known about both of yours love for games for a while but your passion really does sparkle when you talk about them. Would love to see you both blind-reacting to any up and coming showcases (lost touch which one is next!). Looking forward to E002!

When I started Rebirth, I was coming fresh off of Crisis Core Reunion. Seeing Nibelheim so vibrant was such a surreal experience. The music set the tone so perfectly. Welcoming and cozy but with an underlying sense of foreboding.

I played FF7 as a kid and beat it a few times. I even beat the optional weapon battles, so I’m afraid to start the remake because of how much time I’m gonna get lost in it.

The first time I fell in love with a game was Alex the Kidd in Miracle World. I vividly remember playing the first level a ton and when I finally got to the boss it was a game of Rock paper scissors. I was 4 years old and remember thinking "WHAT THEY CAN DO THAT!?"

Great first episode, and it's about time you guys have a podcast to talk video games. As for expensive AAA titles, as long as Nintendo and Sony exist there will always be $70+ video games, but I do hope the none first party games will start off at the $30-$40 mark. As for video game adaptation, i would really like to see them do a live action titanfall. Really enjoyed the episode and I cant wait for the next one.

FF7 also has an orchestra playing with over 100 musicians around the world at quite a few locations. I guess prices vary in the locations and some tickets may still be available.
