Other than the price increase it all looks better. Still not crazy about the head light but its an improvement.

Solid upgrades. I really didn't see this upgrade for the MT-09 coming, considering I thought it was quite up to date already. Of all the bikes I have owned, I still miss the CP3. Still holding my breath for a R9 announcement though.

That xsr gp is badass. R9 coming next. I'd like to see how that cp3 does in a full faired bike on track.

The headlight seems like a tease for how the front end of an R9 might look if they ever make one. The updated body, frame, and overall design seems like they’re going that way especially with the release of the XSR900gp. We shall see.

Crazy as it will sound, but I like the previous model headlight better…. And I don’t like that one either. Still, a pretty good update on the good ol’ MT09. Just put this new dash in the XSR900 and that one would be golden!

Can you still put the same flyscreen (windshield) from yr23 model? Or different? How about the seat? Can you use 23yr model one?
If so I’m willing to swap and move parts from my old one.

Idk how I feel about the headlight itself but how it shapes with the bike and tailight really captures that 'dark' asthethic theyre going for imo.

I think that the 2nd generation headlight was the best and Yamaha seems to have a hard time topping it.
