I swear this sounds like a tense opening to an old 2D animated disney movie; opening up to a mouse or small animal running through the rain at night and stumbling upon a war at 1:09

Ah, look at all the lonely people
Ah, look at all the lonely people
Eleanor Rigby
Picks up the rice in the church where the wedding has been
Lives in a dream
Waits at the window
Wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door
Who is it for?
All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?
Father Mackenzie
Writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear
No one comes near
Look at him working
Darning his socks in the night when there's nobody there
What does he care?
All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?
All the lonely people (all the lonely people)
All the lonely people (all the lonely people)
All the lonely people (all the lonely people)
Eleanor Rigby
Died in the church and was buried along with her name
Nobody came
Father Mackenzie
Wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave
No one was saved
All the lonely people
All the lonely people, hmm

This is my favorite rendition of Eleanor Rigby by far. I played this song so much in orchestra growing up, but this version is just so gorgeous. I love the storytelling you did with the instrumental. Something I thought to myself was that I could see this in an anime or movie score. My head thought of Attack on Titan especially with the most recent seasons, some of the chord progressions and dissonance reminded me of that.

I know I've already commented, but words can not describe the feeling this gives me. Wonder, hope, marvel, a feeling of something bigger, something better. There is also a feeling of dread, helplessness, hopelessness, or utter sorrow or sadness at times as well, all strung together in a thread of grandness in order to make up the wonderful symphony displayed in this video. I am at a complete loss of words, wonderful work.
Edit: I just got to the marimba/harp part again and I feel like crying because of how beautiful it is, just the looming, utterly massive feeling of magical tearing away at my feelings
Edit 2: at the ending and, again, the feeling of everything falling apart and plunging into the pits of chaos is taking place, you have absolutely mastered this piece, and honestly, I'm kinda glad that there aren't many like this, since I would be thinking about every single part of all of them very thoroughly. Again, wonderful job.

The thing that impresses me the most about Cody’s instrument writing is that he makes a story out of every section. Each one of them get a rise above eachother and none of them are particularly different from eachother. It’s also amazing that he’s managed to create a gorgeous in-between of letting the vocals and instruments flow with one another. The words said between the instruments is nearly as meaningful as the instruments playing themselves.
