Cute, its like an anthem to young love knowing that first love isnt always the one. Getting disappointed in what you thought was love is a lesson is life lesson of knowing it takes a while to find love that last forever. I think plastic love is maybe referencing puppy love since we shouldn't call it love we are wise enough to know its just a phase because love is patience and those who can stick around after that plastic love might be love that lasts.
