This song was one of the last I heard on New Year's 2023 before I walked into a really obnoxious party and this song now just reminds me of the last bit of me time of 2023, in the car driving to a party in the peaceful darkness of British valleys and villages, and all night all I could think of was this. Halfway through the night, about 10pm, I zoned out and it felt like I was dreaming. This just adds a whole new layer to the song for me and it makes it all the more special to me. It was an unintentional memory.
All that crossed with the fact I can never seem to win with some aspects of life, like finding love and feeling good about myself. The melody just feels like it speaks to you saying ‘I just walked into my busted apartment and I’m sat alone at a table eating a ready meal under a dim lightbulb'. Life sucks, shit happens, but keep going and stay strong.

I try my best to keep my friends but it seems like every time I actually go and talk to them, they seem uninterested, after a while I went through a huge depression era and only a couple of my friends actually checked up on me, and this song saved me brought me the memories with them I never knew I had with them, wonderful song.
