Slowly making my way through the episode and boy do I agree HARD on the "games don't need to be this long" point! Particularly with RPGs. If I'm going to play a game for a long time, I'd much rather it be because I'm putting practice time into something. Not because the game is actually that long!

Sushi: First of all, Hey there David, hope you are doing well. I think you both spoke on a really unique topic here. One bit that stood out to me was the idea of being in service to others. That seems to be a fading concept and sentiment. More and more there appears to be an idea that serving someone else, in any capacity, is a sign of weakness or that you are not trying hard enough to be financially successful. Some how a person in service is wasting their opportunity to strike it rich. It's quite disheartening to see and hear that mentality. As human beings, we rely on each other to varying degrees and communications/relationships should be built on our emotional connection to one another. Being "in service" to someone else is a big part of that as we are making ourselves vulnerable and open to seeing the successes of others as well as ourselves. In relation to that idea, education (while I know the system is not perfect) is also a learning environment where we can learn empathy and service, but it's being overlooked as a waste of time because we aren't taught financial success (a whole other rabbit hole to be explored some other time and all of those conspiracy theories). While I see somem truth to that, education cna lead us to learn our value in society and how we can work and support others. Finally, No more "old man" questions from you Taylor.
