IMPORTANT tips: -place MULTIPLE beds, there is a respawn cooldown on each one. -alphas CANNOT be tamed(except for "alphas" that are just the highest level of pack-buffed dinos, like an alpha wolf or allosaurus. It's a different kind of alpha.) -BUILD WITH STONE. Nearly all dinos cannot damage stone. -TRIKES have a CHARGE ability, and bonus damage against bigger creatures! -STEGOS have 3 unique "modes"(toggleable with the C button), one gives huge damage resistance, one gives armor penetration/more damage, and one inflicts a nasty slow effect on victims! Stegos can also IMPALE small creatures and do massive knockback damage. They also gather lots of berries/wood, with different amounts of each resource based on their current mode! -BOLAS WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE MORE TIMES THAN YOU CAN COUNT. Always have at LEAST 10 bolas on you. -Right clicking with a torch in-hand, or using the item interface for it, will PUT THE TORCH ON YOUR BELT. You can now use a torch hands-free! -TAME A THERI. You can't ride it until late game, but when wandering they will gather wood and thatch for you! -You can SWITCH AMMUNITION/ATTACHEMENTS by holding the 'R' key, while a ranged weapon is equipped! Use this to instantly swap out normal/tranq arrows! -Shoulder pets cut the weight of things in their inventory in half! If you want to carry more, tame a compy or seagull and put your heavy items in its inventory. You can easily open your shoulder pets inventory while it's riding you by using the 'R' menu, similar to switching weapon ammo!
