Just learnt my first song on bass using this :) my fingers have dents in them and I couldn't be more keen for them to callus so it doesn't hurt so much, I'm still in denial I had to cut off my beautiful nails but I'm sooooo happy. I wanted to expand my musical abilities to an instrument, not just voice. I went through all my most played songs on iTunes and realised they all had one thing in common: a prominent or wicked bass line. I figured out pretty quickly this is what I wanted to learn. Now I have a beautiful shortscale Gretsch and after 2 hours of practising, I realised I can actually play to the correct speed with almost no mistakes, and I only got this baby yesterday :). If I get this much progress in a day, I can't wait for what's to come. Cheers for your helpful videos
