I struggle with this a lot, but mediation always reminds me that I already have everything I need, and that more is coming to me everyday because of the things I do. I also learned it's better to make more of what you have than to ask for more of what you don't have. Because if you don't have it i've found that's usually because you are not ready for it.

Because dreaming is mind's trick on you, you're more than your mind, body & emotions. When you truly realize thyself then you'll crystal clearly know that you're the witness(absolute presence at the moment is who you really are).
It took me years to realize this experientially.
