Since the old comments got deleted: Abi's parents investigated when they saw her sitting all by herself. Turned out her friends just didn't want to be on camera. Usually she doesn't sit alone but with friends. No need to be sad about it šŸ˜Š

It's not even just the blind thing, they adopted six children who, most of which, have some fairly-severe complicated disabilities. They all seem to be doing so well now, but how long did it take to get there. Kudos to every member of the family!

8:06 "You have to work with him according to his ability" That's one of the best teachers in the world. HE'S NOT working according with his DISABILITY, he's working according to his ABILITY; and that makes a huuuuge difference, man... amazing

You can tell just by how that woman looks at those kids and how she looks at her husband when heā€™s talking about them that sheā€™s an angel without wings.

Iā€™m so jealous of how well the dad knows each of his children. What semester of college his son is in, Jesses favorite class, he clearly pays attention. Most fathers donā€™t even know how old their kids are.

When they said Abi was found in a trash can I literally cried I canā€™t believe someone could do that to a baby . Iā€™m so glad she found her way homeā¤ļø

Hearing Abi say that she likes having friends, but then seeing her alone at the table while the one behind her was full made me so sad šŸ˜¢

The fact that these kids are thriving is a testament to the amazing parenting theyā€™ve received. What a beautiful family. Bravo mom and dad!

I like that the interviewer always gives them time to finish their sentence instead of finishing it for them. Even while Abi was taking a long time to say the word ā€œfriendā€ and even though she made an F noise indicating thatā€™s what she wanted to say the interviewer didnā€™t interrupt and finish her sentence for her. He just waited patiently for her to do it. I think when people do that they think theyā€™re helping but Iā€™d imagine itā€™d be frustrating to never be able to finish a sentence because other people are too impatient.

I can't stop loving Hannah. Her laugh is freaking hilarious and contagious. and I like her mindset, it's just as contagious.

When the dad was explaining how Abi would break down and just scream and cry like once a month and then he said but thatā€™s what actually saved her life when she was thrown away when born. I started crying I couldnā€™t help it.

One thing I've noticed is that the parents make sure to let their kids know exactly what they're doing as they're doing it, especially when they physically touch them. Respecting their boundaries - especially physical ones - is so important. Such a beautiful family

When Abi started singing "Everyday things are getting closer" i was shocked . I also love that song and to hear her actually sing the lyrics and melody really touched my heart. She is so intelligent ā¤ļø god bless her!

I'm extremely envious of the compassion these parents have. They seem to genuinely love all their kids despite their conditions and the struggles they face parenting them, and it's honestly very inspirational to me. Wonderful kids as well, I'd love to meet them

When the dad talks about Abi's wailing I expect him to say that was a challenge, but no. He said without that she wouldn't be here today and looked at the positive in her behavior. God bless this beautiful family
