This video is so dumb it's actually funny. one of my fav things to do, as a person who has been reading these books for YEARS, is making creative, fun, designs despite what canon says. yes. i do read the books. yes, i do draw nightheart with red markings. it's not canon, but it's fun. and that's the point. not every design has to follow canon descriptions.

Artists have been getting creative with warrior cats designs ever since the book came out. From added details like Ashfur having bangs with red tips to entire design changes like pelt color swapping or pattern changing, dozens of artists have added their own flare to characters without caring whether it's accurate to the character or not. Let people have fun without scrutinizing them for not being book-accurate and take that stick out of your ass.

The audacity you have to link their artwork in the description so all the people that agree with you can go and send hate to them is SHOCKING...
"none of yall read the books anymore ⛓🔪🥀" Can you blame them??? Characters like Nightheart are the cats that are protagonists. There's also over 100 books I would not blame someone if they couldn't keep up anymore.

With all due respect, these cats all look the same so if you want a character to look unique, being creative is the best way to actually make characters stand out. Theres like a thousand brown tabby tom, or black cats and these descriptions are as basic as you can go. As i said, the only way we can make characters look different is by changing it up a bit.
People want to be creative and policing them and getting upset at how people draw a character is kinda rude. Its ok to prefer book acuate designs but doing what you are doing is rude People in the fandom are really creative and if we all stuck to these barebone descriptions, all characters would look the same, and thats boring.
