I have to confess - I found your channel about a week ago and binged ALL the videos in the span of one week lol…and have been sitting patiently waiting for the next one 😄
I watch a few thrifting channels and yours stands out because you transform the pieces or incorporate them in a modern way, to fit your design style. Most others seem to lean into the pieces and end up with a cottage/traditional style. Those are wonderful styles, but I was having trouble getting personal inspiration for my own home - so glad to have found you! You have excellent taste in incorporating the beauty and quality of old world with contemporary.

Great room makeover. The DIY tree was an incredible dup!!!!! It turned out gorgeous. For aging the lamp crevices... I brush on some matte brown eyeshadow , then wipe it back to the desired effect. It gives it a very soft shadowy look. I would love to find those bamboo shades at my thrift store. I have been wanting them ,but they are kind of expensive for the size of my windows. THe artwork over the bed is perfect! Hobby Lobby has a section of knobs and hooks in cast iron . Maybe you could find a unique one for hanging on that black ribbon, Great look!

Hi Tasha...I am so impressed. I think you could be an interior decorator. I bet all of your friends ask for your help. First, the tree came out perfect. It came out just as good or better than the 399.00 plus one. My husband and I like to do stuff like that, but have to say I dont think ours would be that good. I love the curtain hacks, the lamps were such a good makeover and loved the coffee u added ..definitely liked the defining touch on the lamps. I loved ypur bedding. My friends think I am crazy. You never know how many times a year I will change out the bedrooms. For Fall I thrifted Pottery Barn curtains...four panels. I sewed two together for a comforter and used the other two as curtains. They were a beautiful Fall pattern. Four panels were about five hundred dollars on the Pottery Barn site. I paid ten dollars at an estate sale. I loved them, but Christmas came and I did red plaid , then Spring is coming so did blue and white. We thrift everything we can. Like one viewer said you are such an inspiration, you explain everything ( loved the little bench lesson ), and it is like you are right here with us. The pictures you have are so pretty. My attic is my place we keep all our thrifted pictures lol. You never know when we want to switch out pictures too. Thanks Tasha....so glad u came up on my feed. I hope it helps you when u get views on older videos too. Take care ❤❤❤❤

Tasha, first of all - I’m so happy to have found you. I just love your thrift store treasure hunting & the gift of transformation you are able to see past the “cheap or tacky” to make something beautiful❤ You are truly gifted! Loved the little stool. I’d never thought of the hammer 🤷♀️but that was such a cute little stool. The gel stain color you choose was perfect 👍
The citrus tree- OH my goodness! Awesome! Yours was way better than theirs!!! Now I can actually afford one 😂 The clips take the curtains to a whole new level. Truly look like high end linen curtains. Okay you absolutely blew me away with the blackout blinds 😮. I would have NEVER thought to even attempt to try something like that 😅! The Lamps 😍 are beautiful! The art you chose & frame is perfect & I love the ribbon👌❤
I love the bedding. Thanks for the education today & showing us the transformation! When you said “Roses” oh my goodness 😂 There is one still open in our home town in southern GA. When we go back to visit my in-laws again I am definitely going to go into town to see what’s it’s like. It’s been at least 30 yr’s.
Oh also the nightstands were so nice too. You did an awesome job as always & I’m very thankful for the tips you gave us as always😊

I would not change the colour of the nightstands into black, to my opinion this dark brown matches better than black the more warm colours of the room - espacially with those shades now. (The black head of the bed is not visible because of all the pillows (obviously typical for US beds?)).
Thanks for all the other good ideas and wonderful inspirations! 🎉
Greetings from Germany! ❤
