I think the "brutal honesty" part really adresses better than revenge. The "shes better known for the things that shes done on the mattress" line is sooo brutally honest, completely unfiltered rage she felt after her breakup with joe, and after "much better". I think it might be a hint at the fact she might not be changing the lyrics
