I'm a little bit obsessed with this song, not because it's a bloody masterpiece, but because I feel it shines a lot of light on what isn't really spoken about - toxic relationships. A lot more people are going through this shit and yet refuse to speak up about it. It would not be a stretch to assume that there are many people who have watched this video, understood the words for what they were, were brave enough to watch it through to the very end, then sat for a while and contemplated their own (toxic) relationship, and hopefully making some changes to avoid an undeserving fate such as the lovely young woman Kerli plays in this video.
I think this is why music and videos like this are so important. Music and visual media have a lot more power than people might think, especially when they're done so bloody well, like this song.
