For a flower that is emblematic of so many things, it is a rare sight to see a field of them. More often nowadays, they grow in roadsides and in the margins of fields. But how marvellous they look - as stunning a sight as a Bluebell woodland, or Daffodils on a village green.

For this video, Ambient Dawn travelled to the summer wheatfields of Wiltshire on glorious days - oh dear, what a shame, etc. - to capture this vanishing sight. With a piece of music indebted to Vaughan Williams and Arvo Part, this is a video to inspire the lazy days of high summer. And you know what? You ever feel like lying back in long grass, or walking through a landscape of summer wheat? DO IT. No time like the present!
