As a sewist, I seriously recommend making some bum pads for your skirts! They're like little pillows you add underneath and they are super helpful to create that volume without having to make your skirts so heavy!

It is DEFINITELY character development to be able to look at a project and go: "I don't have enough time to finish this in a way I'm pleased with, so I'll just wait". It's so sad to me when people have such big ideas for a project but are forced to rush it and not be satisfied with it because they have a deadline. SO GO KIRA WOOO!! Definitely want to see the design's completion and detailing! Glad you gave yourself a break and didn't force yourself harder than you already do. I think the design and bones are good and you have solid groundwork already laid for future Kiera!
An aside, but I recommend looking up Desna, a deity from Pathfinder. She's a space/star deity who has a humanoid form but is implied to actually be a giant elder god moth. Feels up your alley.

Finally! It’s nice to see you are able to just admit the fact that sometimes you are just not able to finish it… and just give yourself more time.
It’s kinda sad to see artists who have really fun and ambitious plans for their projects, rush themselves and do whatever to just finalize it before deadline, because it was too much work to fit in that amount of time. It’a so nicer when you can see actually finished artwork, finished in the way artist imagined it.
And I think, most of people won’t mind if you decide to divide some projects into more parts! I can’t wait for next video about the further work on that dress!
