This really hits on a different level for me. Not in the breakup sense, but with like- knowing a person so well- what upsets them, how to help them after going through so much crap together, then having feelings for them, and not knowing if they're returned.

since the teaser of this album came out and i saw it as a yt short of Josh singing DIMYU I knew it was a story related with summerland's official video, oh boy when i saw the first 30 seconds of this clip i- i cannot tell you how hard i felt it, the lyrics, the thoughts i've been having on my own situation trying to forget all about what she liked, what she felt... wow, it is all so perfectly aligned for us to get the message we need right when we're supposed to :') thank you yet again, half alive, for such a wonderful piece of art <3333 i love y'all sm (props to Izzy Nguyen for such an awesome film, the storytelling and colors and movement were absolutely amazing!!)
