Claire Rachel Wilkinson, known as Clairity, is an 18-year-old, singer/songwriter
recently signed with Republic Records. Claire began writing poetry and short
stories in junior high school, and shortly thereafter, taught herself to play piano.
She turned many of her poems into songs, and her incisive commentary, and
unique vocals, quickly caught the attention of industry professionals. Influenced
by Coldplay, Radiohead, and Imogen Heap, her sound is a mix of Kate
Nash and Bjork.

You are 17? gotta say that took me by suprise, that's amazing, I mean when I first heard you in the x-men trailer I thought you were a 20 something artist I just have not heard of yet, then when I came to your channel I thought it was someone else like a record company promoting your music, it's amazing how your music sounds better than most music in the main stream, you are going to get big I'm telling you right now, your voice is amazing, your song writing is amazing and you are only 17, just imagine where you are going to be in a few years. Was browsing new music on iTunes and heard some songs by 'Mint' and I'm thinking who does she sound like? And I fire up my iTunes library to my Clairity songs (all of them) and listen to DNA and yup that's who this new artist sounds like. Clairity has a great voice and the songs still sound fresh to me and I look forward to hearing more.

Song definitely has that addictive "Repeat" quality. Espeically when her voice goes into that rhythmic vocal section on the second half of the verse/pre-chorus(?) <3 Can definitely hear the Imogen Heap influence on her songwriting. Nothing wrong with that. :)
