Can't even math, and worst of all is losing cores with this old method.
Upgrading the blue item takes 3 cores and 1 prism, not including the glimmer cost.
Upon dismantling the item, you get a return of 6 cores, turning the actual profit of 3 cores for the cost of 1 prism.
Rahool will give you 5 cores for 1 prism, not including the glimmer cost.
And if you really want to stock up, wait for a day when the lost sector rotator is on an easy one in the EDZ, solo clear legend lost sector back to back, at 5 minutes or less per run. Netting you on average 2-4 cores and 1 prism per clear.

Literally just run Legend Lost Sectors solo or with a friend.
With a friend you still get cores & prisms, but lower weapon/exotic drop
Solo you get cores & prisms, but higher weapon/exotic drop
Master Solo you get the same amount of cores & prisms, but guaranteed weapon and higher exotic drop chance
Each lost sector legend solo takes 2min30seconds to 5min to complete.
Master solo generally takes 4 to 7 minutes.
If you have 3 people running 1 legend lost sector for Prisms/Cores you can finish the lost sector in around 1 min30 seconds to 2 mins 30 seconds.
It's literally the cheesiest farm you can do. You get 2 to 4 enhancement cores and 1 to 2 enhancement prisms per run on legend or master.

Yeah, these are good methods, brw my favourite exotic (armor) is shards of galanor, and my favourite weapon is the trespasser (but unfortunately i can barely use it), my platform is xbox. Keep working my guy ππ

Or just wait for an easy lost sector and go for 1-2 min clears which is way faster than a strike or Gambit or PvP. I farm the EDZ or Dreaming City legendary lost sectors and easily get 100 cores an hour

My guy, this is not the best enhancement core farm.. at all, you're just basically telling us to play the game.
If we're talking about farming, it should be repeatable in a somewhat small amount of time and just a side note you sound like you recorded this in like 3 in the morning lol you were yawning alot.
