I met my wife in the Bay Area when we were in our early 20s. She had been raised in Minnesota and I was from south Florida. She was half Norwegian and looked it, she could've been a native California girl. She was 5' 10", green eyes and long sandy blonde hair. I fell in love with her the first time I saw her face. We traveled to Berlin, Ge and lived there 3 years where she was often mistaken for being a local. She passed away at the age of 31, leaving me with a beautiful 3 year old daughter. I raised her, seeing her mother in her as she grew up, always keeping the memory of my Norwegian Wood alive forever...

You can’t drink someone’s wine, and then burn down their house, John. That’s highly frowned upon.

George's sudden sitar shots during verses are just awesome.

Sometimes I listen to a Beatles song, that I haven't played in a while and I'm overcome with emotion, because I'm struck anew with the enormity of their miraculous talent. Listening to this now, has me teary. I'm just so grateful I was alive in the 'time of The Beatles.'

How could two guys with totally different voices sing so perfectly together? The Beatles were incredible.

This song is why the Beatles are legends. I was around when it first came out and it's just as good today as then. All their music has endured time and different generations but Norwegian Wood will always be one of my favorites.
