Anyone who relates to this, you're not alone. I've just gone 2 years sober. It's hard and something you have to live with on a daily basis, but sobriety brings clarity. I was personally trying to escape — if anything the alcohol made the peace I was grasping for even harder to find. If you don't think you can do it — I urge you to find an AA meeting and listen to others. You'll find people from all walks of life all have the same disease you do. I truly believe that if you're able to be stronger than your addiction you unlock a look on life that only some people will ever find. Maybe it's also known as wisdom. First time I heard your song, but I'm thankful I listened to it we all do recover as long as we fight harder everyday our eyes open. I struggled for 15 years with addiction, and the way I learned to stay clean and sober was by using the same energy I used to get high I generated that drive into staying clean and I live like I'm starting over everyday so that I never get comfortable again. We got this brother.

Part of addiction is slip ups, relapses and mishaps. When that happens, the best thing to do is not let it stay that way.
