Here's the trailer for our upcoming Byzantine themed board game "Battle for Byzantium" which is set to be released in a month's time! "Battle for Byzantium" is our first board game project which is a historical action/ conquest board game with a fictional plot-line taking place in a real historical setting being the year 1025 following the death of the great emperor Basil II wherein the Byzantine Empire is at its height of power and influence as a medieval empire. In this alternate timeline of history, following the emperor's death, 4 ambitious warriors from within and beyond the Byzantine Empire compete with each other in capturing the most number of cities within the empire.

This is a 2-4 player game wherein players can relive the action and excitement of 11th century Byzantium by choosing between 4 characters- a Byzantine commander, Arab general, Norman adventurer, and Varangian warrior- which all have their own special abilities. The objective of the game is to capture all 18 cities in the map of the Byzantine Empire in 1025 and the winner is the player with the most number of cities. Although the game's objective is to conquer cities, several obstacles occur along the way wherein players get the plague, restart at their base, or lose a city by rebellion.
