90s trailers tell you absolutely nothing about the movie... it's cool but also frustrating.

Trailers in the 1990’s: we give you nothing... Trailers of the 2020’s: ...so here’s the whole movie!

I cant stop thinking about this movie because of the part when Cecilia describes her and her sisters as tragic creatures who were so cut off from life that death was not much of a change.

I know this is a weird thing to say but I love the aesthetic of this movie, it makes the story 100 times better.

One of the most depressing movies I’ve ever seen, everything about it is just sad. Good movie, but depressing as hell. If your looking to watch a movie during a very sad and difficult time in your life, don’t watch this, won’t help you.

I like the ending scene, with the mother saying to herself "we were good parents, yes we were" and continues as if nothing had happened. But we all know thats not true, wink, and it certainly will be hard to live with that. I mean, you can lie to yourself all you want, and unless you re some psycho, it will be a charge for the rest of your days.

My favorite movie of all time!!! The book is just as good. It reminds me of my youth, being 16... sooooo much nostalgia.

This movie has a very magical atmosphere, the music, the photography, is not valued enough.

I love everything about this film. It's like a fairy tale for adults.

For me, it's Sofia Coppola's best movie. The book is great too.

I miss Kirsten Dunst’s snaggletooth! The way she proudly showed it off and promised she’d never get rid of it! It reminds me of childhood memories. Now it’s gone and it makes me realize that things change and we can never feel that free again.

The parents absolutely disgusted me. I get setting some rules for kids but what they did. I was enraged when the mom said we were good parents and loved them. What they did was not love

A good trailer because you still ask "what's it about" afterwards. Imagination is a powerful thing yet tends to be suppressed so much these days.

This movie is so dark. It went from tricking my mind into showing me the teenage dream of being young and mesmerising to something absolutely horrifying and sickening.

Probably one of the best films ever made, alongside Polanski's Chinatown and Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut. Does anyone else see a similarity between the demise of the Romanov girls and the Lisbon sisters?
