Everyone in America should see this movie at least once. The imagery is haunting. Freedom and liberty were bequeathed to us by our forefathers, and their fathers, and forefathers. That means our parents and our parents parents, going all the way back to the nations founding. It such an amazing gift that we have grown spoiled, and so we take it for granted, assuming it'll always be here, instead of understanding that we are its caretakers. Each generations of Americans has a solemn duty to be a good steward of what we have all been given. Sadly, some among us abuse those freedoms, go out of their way to deprive others of them, or to prevent them from having them all together. They're loud, ignorant, belligerent, rude, mean spirited, and hateful, just because they can be. Their freedoms to be so are indeed protected by this same democracy that they piss on just because they can, but, that doesn't give them the right to torch the entire country and burn it all down because they feel, and that's the big theme there, that they don't feel they control it, so they want to destroy it. Yes, feasting on the same tree of liberty are the anarchists. They're dangerous people that the rest of us have to keep an eye on, least they spread their destructive ideology to others, by virtue of the rest of us being passive towards them. This must stop on our part, and we need to recognize them amongst us, and always keep a vigilant eye out. They will destroy this country from inside out, and trigger a wave of destruction that will ultimately poison and destroy the tree of liberty we all hold so dear.
You know how you recognize an anarchist? Well, it's simple. They tell you who they are. Every solution to every problem in America they believe revolves around taking up arms against their fellow countrymen. They don't just reserve their destructive and hateful tendencies to only be directed towards foreigners, but towards anyone, the rest of us, whom don't share their draconian beliefs. They advocate taking away the rights and freedoms of others, and they'll usually just make up any old reason to justify it, but mainly they'll claim that they're on a mission from their God, to "save the nation". They'll use words like "dictator" and "nationalism", peppering their speech with words that sound patriotic, but somehow twisted into a sad melancholy of loathing for the very nation that allows them to be as hateful as they want to be. They could choose love and understanding, but that's not their desire. Freedom to them means looking out over anyone who comes within their vicinity with suspicion and distrust, with a gun in their hand. Their "control" must be acknowledged, otherwise they are justified in standing their ground and ending another persons life.
I saw examples of men like this throughout this movie, and I thought to myself, this is what they want? To stand in front of something with a gun in their hands, telling everyone what's theirs, and what they can and can't do. They would trade peace and freedom, for a fiefdom of their own choosing. So small their minds that they don't recognize the value of what they've traded away for themselves and for their children. They act like crazy people, and you need to always keep your eye on crazy people, especially the ones with guns.
Of the things that can be easily replaced, freedom and democracy, are not of them. Once you lose it, it's gone forever, or until you can recreate it again. We don't know how to do that because we're just the beneficiaries of it. So we better all be doing our damn best to make sure that we speak up, act out, vote, and stand up to bullies and anarchists, every day of their lives, and remind them that they do not control liberty and freedom. Nothing in their beliefs entitles them to destroy our nation. Nothing they own, AR15, or whatever, gives them dominion of the rest of us. Freedom is a gift, and we will not be sacrificing it to their ilk any time soon. Vote em out of office, state and federal. Put em on a terrorist watch list, and let us never forget that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance from those whom would destroy it.

A film that really depicts what a Civil War evolves into. The film "Under Fire" depicts the war between the Govt. Forces of Samosa, a Facist Dictator, and the Communist led "People's Forces". The best you can take away from this movie, it actually happened. The actors are, Nick Nolte, Gene Hackman, (Reporters), Ed Harris, (a Mercenary who fights for both sides.) A must see movie from the 1970s'

See it at the cinema before you find yourself watching it on the news.
