My fave crime drama trope is "Wait, stop the video there! Zoom in. Now, enhance it....!" and somehow the super grainy, blown-out, digitally-zoomed CCTV footage gets clearer.

I love this guy. I hope he examines my crime scene when I'm murdered.

Moral of the Story: Just because you watch NCIS, Bones, Criminal Minds and Dexter DOESN'T mean you can get away with murder lol

I’m mad they didn’t look at Bones, since that was actually co-produced by a forensic anthropologist.

One of my former professors wrote his thesis on the "CSI Effect" and how it affects the detective's job. Basically, shows like CSI make jurors think that cops messed up because they didn't do what they do in the show.

In the defense of criminal minds, they are not crime scene investigators but profilers.

My mom is an orchestra teacher, so she always critiques depictions of musicians on TV/in movies. That’s another one you could do.

Please bring back the medical expert and linguistics expert. They were both incredible and there's always a ton of subject matter for them to cover. More of these, please.

I feel like in 90% of the cases, the entertainment factor wouldn't be diminished just because they got the technical aspects right.

This guy is so interesting. I could listen to him talk about crime scenes for a seriously extended period of time. Lol.
