Easy work around that limits potential injury or concerns. Have Matthews ONLY play the powerplay. No powerplay he sits on the bench. If he gets his 70, scratch him for next game.

Travelled with my son from Newfoundland to Toronto for his first Leafs game and saw Matthews score his first 50th goal in a season, and it was epic in the ACC that night!!
