It is to an extent a shame that Pink Floyd gave up on the gongs, timpani mallets and those psychedelic organ sounds. But hey, that doesn't mean you can pull out More or A Saucerful of Secrets out of the self now and then and get completely lost in a different dimension. Brilliant music no less!

A fascinating album capturing the transition from the early stuff to the more commercial stuff begun with Meddle. Only die-hard Floyd fans tend to own it or even know about it. Obscured by clouds seems to suffer the same if not to quite the same degree of obscurity. Would sooner own this than anything post Waters.

The 'More' soundtrack is so underrated... It's a shame ! The outtakes from "More" that we found on the new box set "Early years" is incredible. But it's not the real song called "Seabirds", the rock song witten by RW. I'm really sad about that... I read somewhere that this song is lost forever. The "Seabirds" song that we found on the box set is an outtake from "Quicksilver", and it's delicious !
