I'm very surprised nobody has pointed this out, atleast when i scrolled through alot of comments.
Before the Xbox bundles were free, the faces used to have their own color instead of being transparent.
You could've worn the face but couldn't change the color of your head since it's meant to be 1 color. They unknowingly changed this to have the background transparent.
