As a female growing up, you can ALWAYS tell when another girl is uncomfortable by body language. Look at ANY of the pictures where he's with the younger girls or interviews where they're next to him'/near him. They lock up and aim their body away, they don't wanna be NEAR him. He's always been kinda weird, even when I was a teen. I'm 30 now and I pray that all the actors find peace in their life. Reading Jeanette's book was so fucking painful.

Something I think people aren't super aware of - Jennete's first role on a Dan Schneider production wasn't Sam Puckett; it was a small role in one episode of Zoey 101, playing a character eerily similar to Sam Puckett, a girl named Trisha who was held back from sixth grade who causes trouble for those around her. This means that Jennete's history with Dan goes back even further than most think, which is just sickening.

I just finished reading Jennetteās memoir yesterday (highly recommend it, by the way), and I would just like to point out that, although she hasnāt spoken publicly about Schneider, Jennette describes in the memoir how Miranda Cosgrove has always been there for her with her struggles with her eating disorder and recovering from her past trauma. Miranda not being there the night of Schneider being given the award speaks volumes, and I wouldnāt at all be surprised if she was with Jennette that night to help distract her, as Jennette described her friendship with Miranda as āinseparableā through their mid-20s. Dan Schneider also has zero involvement in the iCarly reboot, and when Miranda helped pitch the show, she made sure that Jennette would be paid the same amount she would. Iām glad that in all of the darkness, there is some light to be found in people like Jennette and Miranda, and their friendship.

I like what we hear of Noahās statements at 33:22. Heās conscientious enough to know that, even if it wasnāt his experience, he wonāt discredit those whose experiences are different and much worse. He admits he doesnāt WANT to view Schneider that way, but he doesnāt just completely reject it. Itās refreshing.

I know we shouldnāt judge a book by itās cover, but you only have to look at 1 picture of him hugging one of his teenage female stars to see that heās enjoying it far too muchā¦ horrible little creature, really stomach turning to know that bloke was king of his little world for so long

Jennetteās book was such a tough read, but a good one. iām glad that of all the horrible things she endured, she was able to turn it into a long-standing friendship with Miranda and a bestseller. sheās an incredible writer, and i have no doubt with how well the book is doing, sheāll make plenty more than she would have with that $300,000 hush money deal.
i want nothing but the best for this immeasurably strong woman. she deserves it.

Sorry the audio control is so bad in this video, I had to edit the clips to avoid copyright which made them a lot louder than my mic. Also- please be respectful of the former child stars in this video- especially for those brave enough to share their experience, I'm sure that wasn't easy and respect and admire their strength and courage.

24:34 Arianna immediately upon seeing Dan pulling her hair over her chest and her dress over her legs is extremely familiar and uncomfortable to me as someone who was also abused by adults. The whole atmosphere between her and Liz changed as soon as he showed up.

I have a friend who loved Amanda Bynes. I remember her saying how she is the one "who hasn't gone down the deep end." And then compared her to other child actors (from Nick/Disney) who have gone down the "deep end." I remember telling her just wait Amanda just needs to figure out her childhood trauma first. I don't even know what made me say it but I kid you not a few months later she was arrested for DUI.
So sad. Hollywood is not for these kids! We need a better system for them.
I also spent years admiring Jeanette's body. I wanted to be skinny like her. Sad to know I was admiring her eating disorder but also explains so much about my past with eating
