The amount of emotions you can manage to convey through a song is fucking unbelievable. Tears in the rain makes me feel like nothing has ever made me feel. Never ever. You made it so we can feel exactly what you were feeling when you were in the studio, we can feel exactly the same feeling you wanted us to feel. The whole Kiss Land album does it like no other does, but goddamn, Tears in the Rain is just in another fucking unimaginable level.
I honestly have no idea how to express with actual words my love for this song. 7 minutes long, knowing every single lyric by heart, conveying exactly the same you did in the studio.
The day I saw you performing Tears in the Rain live, in Barcelona, that day felt like an ascension to heaven. Well, the concert itself with you in the stage felt like heaven, but, once again, Tears in the motherfucking Rain was just on another damn dimension.

I love that no matter how long you've been an XO member, whether from After Hours (like me, for the most part; I've heard the classic radio singles from BBTM, the Daft Punk ones from Starboy, Pray for Me, even Wanderlust, but AH's release marked my full dive), or all the way back to Trilogy, you still feel at home, in a way. Everyone here has their favourite albums, but they don't seem to judge anyone who doesn't like that specific one, and for a music fanbase? That's really rare these days. Even when there are people like that, they're usually not as loud as they think they are; the XO world is just here to chill and listen to this soulful dude sing about sex, drugs, love, experiences, whatever.
Like, if you're a new fan or an old one, you feel like you've been following Abel since the start regardless; his work is just... so good to listen to. I'm proud of him, and going from a homeless Toronto-native to the Super Bowl halftime show in a decade!? C'mon! Fuckin' LEGEND!
