- Boil 12 chopped fingerling potatoes for 20 minutes, and boil 4 cups of fresh english peas for 5 minutes, then set both aside
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-low heat, add 1 cup chopped shallots for 8 to 10 minutes, then add 3 chopped garlic cloves in the last 2-3 minutes
- Add 6 cups water, 3-4 tsp of vegetable better than bouillon, 1 tsp salt, and 0.5 tsp pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low and cook, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
- Remove the broth from the heat, add 0.5 cup basil and 0.25 cup parmesan, then pour broth into a blender
- blend the mixture (excluding the peas and potatoes)
- put the blended broth back in the pot, add peas and potatoes, bring to a boil, then remove from heat
- garnish with parmesan, chives, basil, etc

This film style that Emma has begun to utilize is so peaceful. Her journey from more up beat and choppy videos to more documentary style has been so mature and impressive. This new style of hers is why we have been able to maintain interest in her videos as we grow up, as we have grown Emma’s slower, more zoomed and fluid filming style has grown too. We have all begun to feel a sense of nostalgia and comfort with her videos and I’m loving it.

I hope this isn't annoying to say, BUT be soooo careful blending really hot liquids, they expand and the blender can literally explode. If you open the little pour vent on the top you should be fine. Also, the soup looks phenom, 10/10, will be trying.

hey emma my love just wanna let u know i've listened to all ur podcasts and watched all ur videos and im completely supportive if in the end u decide to never come back to youtube but i just want u to know, no one else expects u to do anything different and revolutionary in ur videos even tho thats what ur expecting from yourself. for 3 years and especially with ur more recent videos i find comfort and safety from ur simple and mundane conversations and daily activities. its also been a great help with my anxiety. so i just hope you know ur videos have been such a great comfort to so many ppl and if this just turn out to not be fulfilling you ofc we all understand and support u. just remember ppl dont love u for what ur doing and how unique ur videos are. but for who you are and honestly idc what video i get of u just as long as there's something to see bc i enjoy ur company and presence on yt xx
