I think it's funny that Necrons want to become biologic beings again, but also say other species are lower forms of life, because they're biological😂

You missed the Maynarkh Dynasty ruled by the Phaerakh (female Phaeron) Xun'bakyr, The Mother of Oblivion. They're the ones responsible for taking down half an Imperial sector and the Angels Revenant space marine chapter. They're also known to have ERASED a C'tan from existence, properly and not shattering it into fragments (Llandu'gor, whose death is reported to be responsible for the flayer virus). They have black hole weapons and use Flayed Ones as troops.

The Empire of the Severed is one dynasty I found interesting. Basically, some kind of radiation storm wiped out the memory banks of the Necrons sleeping on the Tomb World of Sarkon, resulting in them becoming truly mindless, and the Master Program of the Tomb World itself became the Necron Overlord called the Sarkoni Emperor and took command of the dynasty.

Id love to hear you talk a little about the Sarnekh Dynasty, the pirate necrons! They're lead by a former exile who reprogrammed the tomb world to see him as the sole ruler, and he calls himself the Reaver King Thaszar.

I'm an avid Warhammer fan in almost every aspect, especially the lore. My favorite faction are the necrons and they are maine main faction in the tabletop game. I've read quite a few Necrons books and consumed tons of additional lore from videos and wiki articles. And has been for years. But despite all that, I still have very little grasp of the entire dynasties and absurd chronology of the Necrons. Damn it, i really needed this video.

Necrons are such a gem to behold and how great they have have become or changed solid characters and technology a lot better position then the Eldear or Tau but so stagnant and who knows if they can or will be flesh

Holy shit! "It's as if war to them is less a battle for honor and territory, and more like a hyper advanced industry of slaughter." Is such a raw line!

You have already covered the Flayed ones before but it might be interesting to do a more in depth video about their origins (and combine it with the Destroyers) while the common theory is that it is curse from the C'tan Llandu'gor, and there is a lot of evidence that points towards that, the Twice Dead King series paints a far more complex picture.

I usually run Szarahkhan, I like the better rean prot and living metal their command protocol gets, the ability to shrug mortals and they get one of Necrons only deny the witch. I'd love a video about the individual Necrons like Imotekh, Trazyn and Anrakyr

Good stuff Wes! I'd request an Ork vehicle episode. The people need to know about the Scrapjet, the Boomdakka Snazzwagon, and the Gorkanaut... it's left arm is a piloted giant gatling gun where each barrel is another regular sized gatling gun. The Ork piloting that has gotta be the happiest being in the 40k universe.

id like to see a deep dive on the Men of Iron at some point. I hear them mentioned pretty frequently but i can only ever find brief summaries about their lore.

Your videos have been a major inspiration for me to start my own channel on 40k, so thank you very much for that Wes! And as usual, excellent video. Focusing on the subfractions for each faction is definitely fun, and I hope you'll get around to doing one on the craftworlds as well someday.

Once again asking for a deep dive on Garviel Loken! My first foray into the lore of 40k was the Horus Heresy. At the time, I didn't know that it had taken place 10,000 years in the past relative to the setting of the game. That didn't stop me from seeing Garviel Loken as the epitome of what an Astartes should be, and the standard I've compared all others since.

When it comes to Necrons it's really hard for me to side with anyone besides Trazyn the Infinite. The history minor in my degree demands it of me. But the Thokt Dynasty now definitely has my interest. Something that would be helpful, especially with their taking a more involved part in current happenings in the galaxy, would be doing a video on the Ynnari. Things are going on with all of those in the Aeldari codex, and while it seems to be more background to major things like Primarchs returning and hive fleet Leviathan, I think they may be getting some bigger moments soon-ish.
