LastPass is stupid. They should have made their premium offering more compelling so that some free users would upgrade and users from other platforms like 1Password would join. This password manager space is competitive and if people don't like a service they will switch.

I predicted the move and thatās why I stopped using them years ago and went to a fully open source password manager.

LastPass' company LogMeIn, has a much more outdated, but more flexible alternative. It's called LogMeOnce. If you're not accustomed to adjusting to a more primitive UI, BitWarden is the best choice.

I already switched to NordPass. The free version is okish. The only thing you canāt do is use at both times the app on computer and phone, but thatās not an issue for me. The iOS app looks great, better than LastPass. The import of password and everything was done perfect.
I already try bitwarden that many said that is a serious alternative, but the iOS app for it let me down. Many bugs and not function correctly so passā¦.

You forgot to mention the fine print down at the bottom. The "discount" is only good for 1 year. So they jack it back up to $36 after that which I'm sure will get increased to $40. It's just not worth $36.
