Why are you all so harsh and quick to condemn? Just let them experiment ffs. I wasn't the biggest fan of the song when I first heard it but after relistening to it a few times it's starting to grow on me. Ignore all the hate, Houndmouth! You do you.

Has this grown on anyone yet?

It's a great tune! This and Golden Age are the major highlights of the new album in my opinion.

This is a fun song. Not sure why everyone is so down on it. Artists evolve or try different avenues

Interesting - there's definitely an 80's new wave vibe to the keys and synth sounds. It's a departure from the raw, folky Houndmouth that I love, but I get that bands need to explore new creative avenue. It's not an instant hit for me, but I'll give it a few more tries and see what sticks.

Girl I loved died unexpectedly in her sleep last month… don’t know why I never heard this song before, but at this particular moment it has a different meaning for me. I don’t want to be at this party, dancing alone without you.

Haha, these comments are ridiculous. I like this song and am looking forward to the new album. Sounds evolve and change, all good bands change and incorporate new sounds and styles. Who wants to be in a band that just makes the same record over and over?

I dig the song. As a casual fan of Houndmouth’s previous albums I really enjoy this

Absolutely LOVE this song. I'm reading the comments and it seems a lot of people who were fans of the band before aren't happy, but as someone who has never heard of the band until this song, I'm now a fan! :)

I haven't listened to this song in a while, or at least watched this specific video for it, but man I was not expecting these comments. Half of them are as confused as I am and the other are a mix of "WAAAA CHANGE IS BAD" or the occasional "WAAA CHANGE ISN'T ALWAYS BAD BUT THE FACT THAT THIS ALBUM ISN'T THE SAME AS THE PREVIOUS ONES IS A PERSONAL ATTACK ON ME"

This song is actually super deep folks. They are literally telling you they don’t want to be at this party (music business) anymore. Maybe the label will help them get this masterpiece on a Diet Coke commercial!

I like this. Evolution, not revolution.
