TLC138 Build Competition.

My entry for this competition is Entry #1

This was the brief we were given at the beginning of the competition .......
You must build a base that has a working boat dock with a completed boat as well. It needs to be a functional base with everything you would need to survive. Also, it should look cool. No restrictions on what you can use to build it.

So myself and Raven-Wolf embraced the challenge, we decided to work with ruins to give that extra shape and texture you just can’t get in Ark, (pillars and arches) so that gave us the theme, to go with kind of medieval Europe feel the age of discovery, a mixture of traders and pirates, so we built docks to both sides of our horseshoe bend, with lighthouse to the main front of our build, along the docks there are places to sit and drink and exchange, also on one side there are stalls selling everything for sea travelling adventures from ropes and maps to vessels and flags, along one the piers there is a small workshop/blacksmith and a tavern, through the arches there are big storage room to one side and main craft area to the other, leading through a gardened area complete with exotic plants butterflies and greenhouse growing veggies and berries to trade, going up into main base there is a fully functional kitchen with indoor seating to cater for the many with bar at the end. This leads to an open outdoor eating area overlooking the indoor garden with fountain, situated in the heart of the garden, seating by the fire pit and BBQ area, moving further upstairs is a sea museum housing an array of taxidermy sea creatures and the hull of an old ship. The stairs lead to the final floor where there is sleeping quarters for those resting from the voyages.
