The fact is that Canadian law regarding deformation is so strict that CBC wouldnāt have touched this subject without the solid evidence (birth certificate). Buffy is totally entitled to sue CBC if it were considered serious deformation/slander and she would win. She should be required to do a DNA test. A comparison test with her sister. The one she was raised with in Massachusetts. That would clarify if she was adopted. If she doesn't submit to a DNA test. She was not part of the "60's scoop". She has a birth certificate with the hospital, the doctor, her race etc. She was born in 1941 which would make her in her 20's during the "60's scoop". There is nothing to indicate that she is indigenous other than people say "she looks it".....The only adoption that took place here was her adopting the story that she was indigenous.
