Ah, the Feuerzangenbowle....I grew up with an aunt from Germany who brought that tradition here. She had a big copper pot that sat on a stand, which she filled with red wine and fruit on the bottom. The literal translation--fire tongs bowl--references the tong that sits on top of the pot and holds that sugar cone. We had huge sugar cones imported from Germany. The rum was poured over it and lit on fire. It took quite some time to melt the whole thing. I've never actually seen it done in miniature like that which you had. That was very cute.
I love those memories. We were too young to drink the wine, of course, but we did get some of the fruit. It was yummy but strong. Lol. I've gone so far as to make one of my homemade hand sanitizers a Feuerzangenbowle scent. It's very strong, too. 😋
