This is a great song by Olle Adolphson. If you get a special song written for you by Bill Evans (Waltz for Debby) you know you are a great singer, and that´s exactly what Monica Zetterlund got. Fantastic! R.I.P.

Monica Z represented Sweden in Eurovision 1963. We really sent our big guns early in that competition.
We also sent another beloved and famous jazz singer, called Alice Babs. Her most famous songs are Regntunga skyar and Swing it, magistern - both from the movie Swing it, magistern.
Both are legends today.

I've been listening to another of her recordings of this song a lot, but never seen her sing it! It's absolutely amazing! The perfect understated acting timed perfectly with the words... Brilliant! Monica's Waltz is another great song! Trubbel was written by Olle Adolphson from a male perspective, but apparently she asked him for permission to change a few words to make from a female perspective, it took a while for him to approve.
