I really appreciate this type of music cause its real. Someone really went through all this and poured his feelings in a song. Amazingly written and sung. Hatsoff to mumford and sons keep on making such amazing songs with meanings.

I always imagine the Marauders to this song. How Lily drives with them through the countrys and citys, because James, Sirius, Remus and Peter can't drive. Frank and Alice are sitting in the trunk with bottles of Firewhisky. Marlene brought some Cigarettes and Cardgames. They are laughing together and are all happy and carefree. You can hear Dorcan laugh with Donna about her Brother Kingsley.
They never thought, that in a few years nearly all of them will be either dead or crazy. Some of them will have no family left or will be on the side of the Dark Lord.
They thought, they will be together forever, raise their children together and leave this world together. How much can change in a few years.
Lily and Severus never talked again. Remus and Tonks will never raise their child. James will never play Quidditch with his daughter in law. Sirius will never play pranks with Harrys kids on him.
