In times past people would just be enjoying their day and then their lives were quickly changed or taken without warning because of storms like these....the technical and scientific approaches to weather in modern times have given people every available opportunity to reduce their risk of serious injury or worse because of weather.....forecasts like these are saving lives potentially and we should appreciate that and at minimum take the threats seriously....just take the warnings from professionals seriously....its free it costs nothing
