Rather than an entire village I think a couple lonely buildings would look better. Like it's the Panda's caretakers home, an outhouse and a storage shed. It would be cute if this was known as like "Panda Island" to the surrounding villages and there was a small gift shop. Also a tree that big definitely has some big roots poking out of the ground/cliffs. Would 100% make the tree feel more grounded in the island.

For below the tree it would be cool if you built up a village and maybe some other mob sanctuaries in a similar style to the panda sanctuary so that it looked like a separate urban(ish) area to the rest of your world

You should make huge roots coming down the mountain that the cherry tree is sat on, so that the roots kind of encase the mountain. I just think that would look so cool and it would help the cherry tree feel more integrated into the surroundings

Out of any panda he could find, he found the lazy panda, they hate being uphill, go 10 times slower than a normal panda, and are always on their backs
