Nothing like watching for an hour an agonizing existence of a whimsical creature on a lonely empty plane.

I got shivers when I thought it's gonna be an animated 1-hour-film from Felix, lol

I don't know if I could emotionally and spiritually HANDLE an actual hour long animation from Felix. His animations are so vivid and unique that they send me on a whirlwind of feelings, and those are the ones that last a few minutes...๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Felix, you almost gave me a heart attack with that runtime.

0:59 I dont know how to describe it, but this crazy man and his endless effort to escape his lifeless suburban prison of road, finally reaching the stars by using a sign to bounce off of the plane only to be shot back down by the stars themselves is simultaneously peaceful and frustrating. for a brief series of seconds he just flies, thinking he's finally escaped to whatever exists beyond only to find himself back where he started every time. it's like being stuck in a lifestyle you despise, working to escape it but always falling back into it despite your efforts.

I like the bit where he forgets himself for a moment and accidentally starts smearing out across 4-D spacetime, before he suddenly remembers he should maintain spatial cohetion and snaps back together. We've all felt like that haven't we?

Joke: It's a loop just over 1 minute long ~correction: 35 seconds. Challenge: Actually sit through that entire hour just in case Felix hadn't snuck any minor changes to the loop we'd never notice.

this is actually the perfect run time for a felix colgrave animation, because we end up watching them over and over anyway

This creature feels too much like our lives, trapped in a world where we do the same over and over again. And then.. when in the end we are gone, the world is still there, the same as when we were around. Honestly, the ending got me off guard.

Imagine how horrifying it is to live on an empty surface like this, even being always returned no matter how many times you try to escape. I guess I understand why the guy is mad

Felix Colgrave returns to show us how it felt when we played on that old kindergarten road rug.

This feels so claustrophobic and liminal, yet open and otherworldly at the same time. I admire you felix! โค

This is literal eye and ear candy, and the fact that itโ€™s an hour-long loop so I can watch it over and over again makes it even better

I knew it couldn't possibly be an hour long film from Felix, but that twinge of hope made me insta-click anyways. Still amazing as always.

My head canon is that the sign doesn't work unless he(?) executes the dance perfectly and then runs that exact route and the only way he knows this is because he's been alive for an indescribably long time and just experimented until he discovered it.

I have to say I think it peaked at 37:16 ,definitely the best part. The subtle sounds of his foot slaps timbre changes. Genius

For the last repetition, check 59:27 and for the different part in the end, it starts at 1:00:02
