When I was 17, I worked at an Old Navy. This song was on the store's (corporate-issued?) playlist. The highlight of my shifts was waiting for this song to come on. I memorized the song or two before it and would get excited because it meant THIS SONG was coming up soon. When it was on, I felt pure bliss. Hearing this song was the very best part of that job. This was 2001, before things like Shazam, so I didn't know what it was called or who the artist was. I left that job and 5 or 10 or however many years later, I found out what this song was called and who performed it. It's still one of my all-time faves.

I used to listen to this song when I was a SOPHOMORE IN HIGH SCHOOL back in 1992!! It was one of my absolute FAVORITES!! The rhythm...the back-to-back chords and the style of the song.
