Australia: Tracking the wet weather in the east, inland & west

A cold change for TAS today will continue to keep temps down in parts of VIC, ACT and NSW - in fact even parts of QLD are cooler if you’re near the coastline or higher elevation.

This week easterlies remain, bringing more wet weather to coastal NSW and QLD. In NSW this wet weather will turn to afternoon showers, some with thunderstorms, across the interior.

Sadly, VIC is on the outside of much of this wet weather.

And in WA it’s still warm but there’s a little bit of wet weather from Perth to Albany to Esperance. Don’t get too excited - but it is a tiny bit of relief in an otherwise dry forecast.

We have your Australia forecast through to Sunday. Our next update is on Thursday and we’ll take a look at forecast 7 day rainfall totals then too.

Have a great week - and thanks for supporting WeatherWatchTV on YouTube! :)

Regardless of the whining from folks, this is still far superior to our own weather forecasts in Australia, thank you 👍🏻

Hey Philip, thanks for doing Oz twice a week, it helps a lot. Need more rain in Lower Barrington, which is halfway between Devonport and Sheffield. Fly over it and check it out.👍

Oh no 😢 still no rain, not a drop for bone bone dry Adelaide 😢and not much on the horizon to get excited about. Instead of the average for April of 45 mm we’ve had I believe 12mm. I think we need to speak to the rain gods. But wait that’s Phil’s job😆😂 Cheers and thanks Phil and team👌

Great weather forecasting, sooo much better than the BOM. The BOM is so bad, I look at the forecast then assume it will be the opposite. Makes you wonder about their long term forecasts if they can’t even predict the weather tomorrow.

Thank you, Phil. Yup, just classic cold front with no rain to speak of, just north of Melbourne. Lot of dew in the mornings has been great to perk our paddocks up, just not a lot of growth. Bye, April. I always love you. In all parts of Oz. Best month of the year.(in my opinion).

I'm on the NSW Central Coast, and the BOM is predicting possibly up to or more than 200mls up till next Sunday, as far as the forecast currently goes. Keep up the good work.

Its definitely been dry in Vic Central Highlands. Apart from a downpour around Easter, we've been dry since January. Not complaining and glad I have rainwater tanks for the garden and yard.
