POV: the (live) little girl loses her sister in a horrible accident. When her and her mother are at her grave, attending the other little girl’s funeral, the (live) girl develops a power which will then save the world. She can see the dead, thanks to her sister. Her sister could see the dead before her, but when she told them nobody believed her and ended up forgetting all about it. It was then passed onto the (live) little girl so she could pass it on from generation to another. This would go on, the power also bringing a terrible curse which no one alive would know about, as every owner of the power had died, due to the curse.
